Braided Rug
June 2012
Catalyst Studio
This is a work in progress, but I can tell already it’s going to be a hit (with the cats).  Each circle is made from the remains of (one) old tee-shirt.  Oh and that table that holds our spry paint cans and record player’s speakers?  We made that, too.

Experiments in Handmade Paper
Catalyst Studio
May 2012
We experimented with creating our own paper for business cards.  Some textures were created by letting the pulp dry on the screen—others we textured using our fingers as they were drying.

Catalyst Studio is a partnership between Jeff Gipson and Kristen Fox that began in 2011. We make things that make our lives better, through the process of making them and through the products themselves.

We strive to encourage action within the design community that positively influences society as a whole.

Here we collect inspiration and share what we've done.
